BR 1-06: The old woman who lives in a shoe (Russell Punter, 2008)

"There was an old woman who lived in the shoe."

There was an old woman who lived in a shoe. She had a lot of children, but she didn't know what to do. In the house, there were various children. For example, greedy kids, naughty kids, or small kids, and tall kids. There were boys and girls all over the place. They squeezed in together, with no room to grow.

One day, "This shoe is too full.", she said. So, she looked right away. She went to all shoe stores, but there were nothing. The boots were too tiny, and the shoes were too small...She felt resigned. She was on her way home by the side of a liver. Then, she met a huge giant. He gave a sad shiver. The old woman helped him. In reward for her, the giant gave his big shoes. 

Now all the children have space to have fun. Also, the old woman can knit in the sun. They can be happy!

This is so interesting story for me. I want to live in this shoe!

Supporting Japan Soccer team!

Last Tuesday, 27 May, I watched the soccer game at TV. The game was practice game. Japan National Team competed with Cyprus National Team yesterday. Because of this, Japan National Team will meet Greece National Team in World Cup, so they met Cyprus like Greece play style.

I love soccer. I was looking forward to watch this match! So, I went back home as soon as I finished my classes. I supported Japan with my father. He loves soccer, too. We watched the game with eating snacks and drinks.

This game was so exciting. However, Japan National Team got only 1 point. I wanted to get more points! I thought Japan National Team had to need scoring. They had good defending style, individual play by themselves. So, they should get points after they demonstrate these good abilities.

Last Tuesday's game, Uchida got goal! He overcame a serious injury. I thought he was great! I want to get goal in World Cup! Of course, I hope to get goal by all member.

I'm looking forward to start World Cup in Brazil.

Essay 1-02b: Let's have a good university life!

I'm going to write about university life. There are a lot of things to write about KGU life. I will talk about six topics, Clubs, Takumasai, Bakery, Canteen, Liblary, Schedule, and Classes.

A lot of students are going to KGU now. They enjoy their university life. They are having many interesting experience, for example, studying, friends, part- time jobs, and the other. There are a lot of clubs at KGU. For example, there are the lacrosse, the music, the calligraphy and other clubs. If the students at KGU belong to the flower arrangement club, everyday is fun. If they belong to any clubs, they can have a lot of friends since they belonged to it. New friends will help about a lot of things. For example, they give advises of homework, human relations, and the other. New friends will be happy in university life. Usually, flower arrangement club's member hold club activities on Wednesday. They often hold pizza party, takoyaki party, and other parties. In addition, they hold BBQ, video viewing, hide and seek and other activities. These activities are very fun and interesting. They are always looking forward to coming Wednesday.

Takumasai is also fun. Takumasai is like school festival. If the students at KGU don't belong to clubs, the students at KGU can't take part in Takumasai. Some of club's members serve an executive committee of Takumasai. It is very busy and tired, but they enjoyed it. In addition, they could watch concert for free because they were executive committee of Takumasai. It was very lucky. The concert was very excited and wonderful!

I'm going to write about KGU facilities. The university's bakery is very popular. The bakery's breads are so delicious, so students like them. If the students want to eat their favorite bread, they must go there earlier than other students. Otherwise, they can't eat their favorite food, because this bakery's breads are all sold out as soon as. The students have to fight in bakery to eat delicious breads, but they like this university's bakery. Also, canteen is very popular for students, too. The student's favorite menu is curry and rice. It's very good taste! As with the bakery, if they want to have lunch in the canteen, they should go in a hurry because the seats will be all taken by a lot of students.

The students at KGU often go library to study. There are a lot of books in this library. They sometimes use computers there. There are also a lot of computers there, so it available anytime. In addition, they often watch DVD at AV corner. There are a lot of DVDs there, so they watch DVD there when they are free. KGU library is very useful. Thanks to this library, they can finish my homework, and look into anything.

I'm going to write about my university schedule. The almost students at KGU have to wake up early in the morning. They usually get up at 8a.m. It is very hard for their to get up early because they like sleeping very much. They usually spend hard morning, but some of English departments students at KGU get up 12p.m. on every Monday because they have classes from 2: 40p.m. It makes their very happy. In addition, there is speaking class on Monday. Their like speaking class very much because they like speaking English. That's why, they like Monday schedule.

The students at KGU have a lot of classes. For example, American literature history, Western art history, and other classes. In American literature class, this class is on Friday. In this class, the students can know many popular writers in America. They can learn about Edgar Allan Poe, Herman Melville, and more. It is interesting for all students. The students can get a chance to meet popular books in the world. In this vacation, please read them!

Thus, At KGU, the students are enjoying university life very well. Thay can meet a lot of people, for example, there are the other students, teachers, exchange students, and the other people at KGU, so they can experience various things there. They get a lot of skills, and they grow using these skills. All students love KGU!

BR 1-05: The Snow Queen (Hans Christian Andersen, 2004)

"This is truly a fairy-tale ending!"

There was once a wicked demon who made a magic mirror. This mirror made everything good look twisted and ugly. Anything bad looked even worse. However, the mirror broke into a million tiny pieces. If a splinter struck a person's heart, that heart began to freeze. 

Not long after the mirror shattered, Greda and Kay are best friends. One winter's day, Greda's grandmother told them the story of the Snow Queen. After they listened to this story, Kay met a beautiful woman by snow. However, he forgot all about Snow Queen. Then one day, they stayed together. Then, Kay suddenly changes.

Kay was trapped by the Snow Queen. The Queen kissed him and his icy heart grew colder. She kissed him again and he forgot all about home.Kay had gone with the Snow Queen.

Greda searched this trouble. She went to trip because she wanted to search Kay. After that, she overcame  a lot of difficulties.  Each time, she was helped by a lot of kind people, a helpful princess, the crow, the little robber girl, and the other. 

At last, Gerda arrived the snow castle. Inside a cold, empty hall, Kay was puzzling over the Snow Queen's challenge. He sat still, thinking hard...so still that he seemed frozen stiff. Gerda found him,  but he didn't move. She didn't know what to do, and she hold him tight. Then, hot tears dripped from her nose onto Kay's chest. They reached right through to his heart, thawing the ice and washing away the splinter of glass. Kay remember all things. Kay was free! So, Kay and Gerda escaped from the Snow Queen. They had very strong heart! The Snow Queen was furious but there was nothing she could do. 

At long last, they arrived at Greda's house. Greda and Kay hugged the grandmother over and over. "This is truly a fairy-tale ending!" cried the grandmother and the roses in the window box nodded their heads, as if to agree.

I thought friendship is very wonderful. I want to be kind such as Greda.

Go to shopping!

Today, I'm talking about last Saturday.

Last Saturday, 24 May, I went to shopping with my mother. I woke up at 7:00 AM. It was so early! Because I was very looking forward to go to shopping with my mother. This day, we went to shopping mall Kurea. This shopping mall is so big! So, our shopping is always very long. However, we had purpose, so we got thing I wanted as soon. I got cute short-sleeved blouse and white sandals. It was so cute!!! I like these new items very much♪

After 12 o'clock, we met my sister and her 3 children, my niece, my nephew. They were very cute for me, but I couldn't do shopping after they came, because they were very cheerful, so I had to take care of them. First, they were very hungry, so we went to food area. We ate Udon, rice ball, and ice cream. Next, we went to buy my sister's close and my niece's close. My sister bought sweet blouse. Also, my niece had bought cute one-piece dress and shoes. They were satisfied very much. My nephew had bought a polo shirt. He looked to be so happy. 

At 4:00 PM, we were so tired, so we went back home!  

I enjoyed shopping very much!!!!

TH-15: About vacation plan

Today, I'm going to talk about my vacation plans. In this summer, I have a lot of plans! First, I want to have a part-time jobs. I need money, so I have to work! Second, I want to go to sea with my friends! Last year, I had a driver's license, so I can go to far place by my car. Therefore, I will go to everywhere by myself. Third, I want to trip with my boyfriend. We plan to go to Universal Studios Japan now. In USJ, Hurry Potter attraction will start from July, so we want to go there. We have to do other things, like homework, part-time jobs, club activities, and other things. So, I'm careful when I use my keitai. I want to use keitai more efficient.

BR 1-04: Diana Princess of Wales (Tim Vicary, 1998)

"The most beautiful woman in the world"

Today, I talk about "Diana Princess of Wales". This book said about the life of Diana Princess of Wales. 

She was born  on 1 July 1961 at Sandringham in England. Diana's father and mother were friends of Queen then. She and her family were happy, but not. When Diana was 8 years old, her mother divorced her father and went to live with a man in Scotland. She and her brother and sister often met her mother, and they talked and laughed a lot. However, they were not happy about their father and mother. In 1975, her father moved to a big house. He was very rich, and he married new wife when Diana was 16 years old. She didn't like new mother and school life, but she liked and helped young children. She wanted be a dancer.

When she was 16, Diana went to London and worked in school for very young children. She loved them, and she always helped them. Some day, she met Prince Charles. They fell in love soon. When she was 19, Diana married Charles in London on 29 July 1981. Everybody in England was so happy! However, was she happy?

On July 21 1982, Diana and Charles had first son, Prince William. She was a good mother. However, she and her son didn't always stay at home. She had to visit many countries. Everyone wanted to see Diana, but Prince Charles wasn't happy about this. From in this time, her unhappy started. She was often unhappy and ill. She needed love and help, but Charles didn't understand her. He often meet Camilla.

On 15 September 1984, they had second son, Harry. However, they were not happy. After 1992, Diana stopped living with Charles, and four years later, in 1996, she divorced him. So then she was a mother with two children, but no husband. However, Diana and Charles loved children. So, they lived with children one half each. 

She went to a lot of places, because she wanted to help people with AIDS, children in hospital, old people, and schools. She love ordinary people. She made them and people in the world happy. In Africa, she visited hospitals for lepers. Lepers are very ill, but she wasn't afraid. She touched the lepers and talked to them. In Calcutta, she visited Mother Teresa's hospital for children. In 1997, she learned about landmines, and she tried to help victims by it. She helped people.

On 31 August 1997, in Paris, Diana died in a car accident. People came to London from London, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, France, Spain, Germany, America, Australia, and many more countries. She was loved by people around the world.

I thought Diana Princess was so good. I like her. I want to be like her.

Twins!

Last Friday, my fashion is same like my friend, Seina! I was very embarrassing then! ha ha! I and she wore white shirts, and jeans. We pot on our casual shoes. Our coordinate are so similar! Also, we carried a backpack on our back and tied up our hair! We were same everything.


I didn't like twins coordinate, because it is no own personality. So, I was careful for my coordinate. However, really as it happens, our fashion was same! In this case, I was glad very much, because I thought she understand my fashion sense.

In this time, she laughed! She said me, "You copy me? Don't copy me! haha!" I didn't copy her. So, she copies me!!!

My niece name is Aoi. She is 5 years old now. She is so bright child, because she can read and write hiragana and katakana. In addition, she can read Kanji, too. I hope for her future. Also, she likes musical! She always sing or dance. It's very cute! Now, she is absorbed "Frozen". Her singing "Let it go" is best cover song.



Next, I talk about two nephew. My nephew is Wataru and Asahi.
Wataru is 3 years old now. He is very boisterous. I think he is like Crayon Shin-chan. However, he is very brave boy! His dream is to be a hero like Kamen Rider. He often say "I want to give it to the bad fellow!" I wish his dream comes true.

The last, about the most youngest nephew. His name is Asahi.
He is 6 months old now. He couldn't speak words, but he shows his feelings by smile, crying, and other gesture. I'm really interested in what he has strong will and argument. I hope he grows up healthy!

My golden week!!!!!

Today, I'm going to talk about my golden week!

Before golden week, I planed three things for good days. However, these plans were not very well.

First day, I went to my boyfriend's house to stay for golden week. In the afternoon, we went to Kumamoto Zoo. There were a lot of people, because the event was held there. For example, many kids, families, and foreigners. We saw many animals, elephants, lion, hippopotamus, and other animals. I was very happy!

Second day, we planed to go to Mt. Tawara. So, we prepared for it. We bought ground seat, made Obento, etc. Also, we wanted to do toy sparkler, so we bought a lot of them. However, in the afternoon, it was getting dark by the clouds. I the night, we couldn't watch stars, so our plan stopped, but we did toy sparkler then.

Third day, It was rainy day... We couldn't go outdoor, so we changed our plan! We decided to clean the room! My boyfriend cleaned bath room and toilet. I cleaned bed room and kitchen. We did cleaning for 3 hours! So, his house became very clean. In the afternoon, we went to home center, and we bought new quilt cover because quilt cover is too old. New cover is so stylish. This day, I couldn't go to somewhere, but I stay fulfilling day.



The last day, we woke up at 6:00 AM to go to LAWSON. Now Rirakkuma fair held at LAWSON, and we could get Korirakkuma china bowl in May 6th. So, I wanted to get it! By going there early time, we could get it. In the afternoon, we go on a mini picnic. We watched curious plants. We had never seen it. We felt very fortunate.

In this golden week, I could stay with my boyfriend. Also, I experienced a lot of splendid things. I was so comfortable, and I enjoyed very much.

It was good week for me!

Golden week plan

Today, I'm going to talk about my golden week plans. I have three plans in golden week.

First plan, I'm going to stay with my boyfriend. Golden week is 4 days. I spend with him for three days! I will be like a runaway girl. I'm going to do a lot of things with him. For example, we should do house cleaning, changing of clothes, and more over! I look forward to it!

Second plan, I’m going to go to Mt.Tawara. I have wanted to go there since I’m a high school student. Then, I heard about Mt.Tawara from my friend who was from Kengun. She has went there many times. When I hear it, I want to go there very much!!! In this Golden week, I’m able to go there! I’m going to go there with my boyfriend. Also, I will see stars too. It is very romantic! I’m looking forward to do them!

Finally, I’m going to go to Saga! I will meet my best friend in Saga. I want to do a lot of things with my friend. First, we go to Tosu Outlet Mall, and we want to do shopping! I’m going to buy a lot of clothes. Next, we will do Takoyaki party! I’m good at making Takoyaki! My friend is good at making flavor! We are good at do it. Other things, we have a lot of things we want to do! However, we have only 2 days, so we will plan next time.
