Last Wednesday

I’m going to talk about my last Wednesday.

Last Wednesday, I had writing class. I was tensed then, because the class was first class in second grade and I met Mr. Beaufait first time. I was worried about class content, classmates, and a lot of homework. However, my classmates were very square and lively. I thought this class would be very interesting. Moreover, my class homework is writing blogs and book revue, and doing typing homework. All things aren’t very difficult, so I will do my homework systematically.

After writing class, I went to Gakusyoku. I ate curry and rice with my friend there. My menu is Ontama curry. Onsen-tamago was on the curry. My friend ate rice with hashed meat. These were very delicious. I was satisfied.

After lunch, I went to my boyfriend’s house. He went to work, so I didn’t meet him. However, I did a lot of things, for example, drying the washing and futon in the sun, cleaning his room, and making dinner for him. I was very busy. Dinner menu was fried rice noodles, radish salad, and miso soup. These were his favorite dishes. I made them while imagining his having happy. After I finished my job for him, I went to my home.

On the evening of that day, he called me. Then, he said to me, “These dishes are very delicious. I’m really happy!” I was really glad by his words.

Last Wednesday was unmixed blessing day!

My part-time job

Today, I will talk about my part-time job.



I have a part-time job in LAWSON. I usually work there three times a week, Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday. Monday and Tuesday, I always work six o'clock to nine o'clock, because I have my class from ten forty. Therefore, I have free time on Monday and Tuesday in the morning. Saturday, I usually work six o’clock to twelve o’clock. My job’s contents are service, selling, and replenishment of stocks. That’s very hard work.



Last Saturday, very happily thing happened for me. I always mistake at part-time job. However, then, I had no mistakes, so I had something in reserve. I work hard more than usual, for example, smiling better, sales talk better, and replenishment of stocks better. Then, I was praised from a customer. She said to me, “Your smile is good.” It was first time. I was very happy! I thought I try to work hard more than.



However, at part-time job, there are worried things for me. For example, I’m a college student, so I should study hard, too. For the reason, compatibility of both studying and my part-time jobs. And, I want to have playtime more, for example, meeting friends or boyfriends, going to trip, being free time, and sleeping all day. However, because I work part-time job, I can’t usually do anything. I’ll try to contemplate those things. I’ll manage to get it.

Essay 1-01a: Letter to a host family

Hi! Nice to meet you. My name is Akino.

I'm going to stay with you this summer. For this time, I will introduce my self and ask questions.

I'm from kumamoto in Japan. My home town is Kawachi. The special product is mikan, so I like mikan very much. Also, in Kawachi, there is beautiful nature. Therefore, I love nature so much

Next, I'll introduce my family. I have four four members in my families, my father, mother, older sister, and older brother. My father is a very strong man. He is well-muscled. I love him, and I think that I want to get married to someone like him. My mother is cute. She was a very sunny disposition. Also, my sister is such a hard worker. My brother is very gentlemanly. I love and respect them. I hope to become part of a happy family like my family.

Since I told you about my family, I'll tell you myself character. I'm basically positive, and I'm cheerful. I'm given to saying, "You're smile is so good." I always keep my smile in mind because I want to make my friends, my family, and other persons smile and feel happy. Therefor, the most attractive feature for me of a person is a dimple.

About eating, anything is fine, but I'm not good at both pickles and raisins. Of course I'm going to try to eat them. However, if you don't mind, please keep this in mind.

Finally, I'll tell you my wish in this summer. I hope to be able to grow up with you. Also, there is some things. I want to do there with you, for example, going a tourist spots, playing sports together, and other things. I'm looking forward to meeting you very much. Thank you.

Journal H

              Today, I will introduce two interesting goods. These goods are very innovative and religiously. Please listen to me.

           At first, the item is that I want to recommend for Senior Citizen. It is “Sun Odor”. I think that most of Senior Citizen is frail, so many life works are difficult for them. For example, hanging out the washing to dry, or walking with their pets. Therefore, I hit on “Sun Odor”! As the name itself suggests, this item serves for sunlight. When you are going to hang out the washing to dry, try to use this odor. All you have to do is perfume the washing. The next moment, the laundry is going to dry well. Also, when you are going to walk with your pets, please use this odor. You will feel get drenched in sunlight. “Sun Odor” is going to make your life more comfortable.

           Next goods, I want to recommend for Clown. It is “Toy Odor”! This item is able to change all thing into toy. For example, if you want to use ball, so you perfume a small stone by the roadside, the stone change into ball! Clown use a lot of toys for their performance, so they have to carry them. I feel that it is terrible. I want to reduce the burden for Clown. Also, I think that they can move more easily and entertain more other children. If you use this item, you will be more wonderful clown! “Toy Odor” will make your work more efficient, and make your performance more exciting.

              My memorable experience is that I have spent a year preparing for the university entrance examinations in Kokeijuku after I left high school. The experience was very hard for me, and I felt stress. However, I could change for the better by the experience.

           One year ago, I failed the university entrance examination . I was really terrible, so I didn’t want to do anything. Besides, I didn’t want to study especially, but I had to go to the cramming school because I try the university entrance examination again. I decided to go to Kokeijuku.

At first, I tensed very much because there weren’t my friends there. However, Kokeijuku held a lot of interesting events! For example, volleyball tournament, excursion to Aso, and participating in Zuibyo parade. I enjoyed those events, and I was able to make a lot of friends. I learned not only studying but also pleasure by making new friends in Kokeijuku. Also, new friends helped me various situation. For example, when I didn’t understand studying, and when I was suffering from university. They heard my worry, and they taught me studying. I was very happy to meet them.

Besides, in Kokeijuku, I was able to meet wonderful teachers. Before I entered there, I hated math! I couldn’t understand necessity of math. However, I met Mr.Numata who was math teacher. He was very kind, and his how to teach was very conscientious. Thanks to him I came to like math. Other teachers were professional, too.

I could meet various person and experience a lot of situation in Kokeijiku. I had a very hard time, but I could change for the better. Also, I was able to get irreplaceable friends and teacher. I think that the year is my treasure.

Journal F

           I respect Tohoshinki very much. Tohoshinki is Korean male artist, and the member is U-know Yunho and Max Chanmin. They have the part each which I can respect them. Today, I will show you the point that I respect them.

           At first, it is about U-know Yunho. He is a leader of Tohoshinki. I respect his two parts in particular. First, it is his gentleness nice to anyone. When his work is closed, he always participates in a volunteer in his local welfare institution. Also, he sends money of support to child nursing homes every year on his birthday. In this way, his acts show us his gentleness. Second, it is the part which is his hard worker. He practiced becoming an artist for four years before he made his debut as an artist, and he became a big artist. Also, he suffered from the disease of the throat, but overcame it by repeating an exercise. I was impressed by his gentle action and earnest posture, so I respect him.

           Next, it is about Max Changmin. I respect his modest and sincere manner. Even if another person praises him, he is modest by all means and praised the good place of the person afterwards. For example, Tohoshinki can speak Japanese fluently, so they are praised it when they appear on Japanese TV show. However, Max Changmin always say in such a case, “Our Japanese is more incompetent, so we want to become able to talk better.” I think to be great for his modest. Also, he works on every things in a sincere manner. The way of his greetings shows the manner. When he greets, he bows deeply very much and shakes hands with both hands carefully for nobody, to be younger. I want to follow his such positive personal qualities.

           Finally, it is the positive personal qualities that they have in common. It is a feeling to be considerate of another person. In 2011, March 11^th, the big earthquake disaster was caused in the Tohoku region in Japan. Then they sent much support massages and played for revival of Japan. I was glad very much and was impressed by their feelings and action. I love and respect them. I want to be like them.

Journal E

           There are three people with negative personal quality that I think of. It is Gian, Nobita, and Suneo. They are main characters of Doraemon which is a Japanese national animation. I love both this animation and characters, but they have both good parts and bad parts. I will speak problems in their negative personal quality.

           First, I show describe about Gian. His characters is masculine. It is his good part, but his bad parts are things becoming sometimes egocentric and violent. For example, when he thought that he wanted the thing of his friend, he usually snatches it. In such a case, he says regularly, “What’s mine is mine and what’s yours is mine.” This is the outcome of his egocentric part. Also, for example, when doesn’t turn out the way he thinks, he hits friends and conforms to them. It is his violent part. I think he suffers a loss for this negative personal qualities though there are many good parts.

           Next, it is about Nobita. He has a very gentle character. However, he is a sluggard and is a crybaby, besides. Even if his teacher gives homework, he takes a nap without doing it. Besides, he cries when he is got angry at not having done his homework by his teacher and parents. I think these to be deplorable. Also, I think he suffers a loss for negative personal qualities like Gian again.

           Finally, it is about Suneo. He can judge things ideally under the situation. In other words, he has precise judgment. However, he always depends on another person and shifts the responsibility. I think he cannot have confidence toward oneself, so he acts that way. I hope he has confidence, and he acts by his judgment and takes responsibility.
